Encryption is not a premium feature
AES-256-GCM envelope encryption, per-tenant data keys, GCM authentication tags bound to each record — all included at every tier. There is no “basic” security mode.

Common questions
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. Your QR codes and encrypted data are never deleted when downgrading — only new creation is blocked once you exceed the lower tier's limits.
What happens to my QR codes if I cancel?
Your encrypted payloads remain in storage for 90 days after cancellation. Existing scan links continue working during that window. After 90 days, data is deleted per our retention policy.
What happens when a Free workspace passes its monthly scans?
Free is for trying QR Agent, so past 100 scans in a month its codes pause until the month resets or you upgrade. Anyone scanning sees only that the code is temporarily unavailable. On every paid plan a code never stops opening; scans past the monthly count are simply not recorded.
Does Free really include envelope encryption?
Yes. Every QR payload on every plan is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The Free tier has the same cryptographic model as Enterprise — the limits are on volume and team features, not security.
What does 'on-demand key rotation' mean?
Your tenant has a dedicated data encryption key (DEK) wrapped by a KMS master key. On Business and Enterprise you can trigger a DEK rotation on demand — the system re-encrypts all your payloads under a fresh key. Free and Pro key rotation happens on our schedule only.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Switch the toggle above the plan cards to Annual: Starter is $36/year, and Pro and Business get two months free at $190/year and $790/year. Enterprise is billed under a custom annual contract; contact sales for a proof-of-concept arrangement.
